To say that my family feels blessed to have Dr. Lyons and staff available for all of our veterinary care is an understatement. Not only are they highly knowledgeable, consistent and organized, but they are some of the kindest people I know. I wish we could give them more than five stars.

I came to Lyons for an emergency visit as it pertained to my cat. I had a wonderful visit, despite a tough circumstance, and I will absolutely be a returning customer. The facility was new, clean, state of the art, welcoming etc. I was seen on time and the way in which the staff handled our situation and communicated to me was great. I thought Dr. Lyons was completely relatable and made me feel confident to put my cat's health in his hands.

I needed a health certificate to travel with my dog to Europe. Since Dr. Richard Lyons is registered with the USDA, he was able to provide me with all the documentation required by the European Union. Dr. Lyons and his staff were very knowledgeable and work with a company I hired to move my dog. Everything worked great, no issues whatsoever. Thanks everyone.

Can't say enough good things about Lyons. The doctors and staff are incredible! So passionate, intelligent, and patient with any of our needs. We use them for multiple pets and recently for our 21 year old cat we had to put to sleep. Unbelievably compassionate...Highly recommend!

We had an amazing visit with Lyons Veterinary Hospital with our new puppy. Dr. Lyons and her staff are so kind, helpful and welcoming to new families. We’ve had quite a few questions, even with this being our second puppy, and Dr. Lyons is super patient and knowledgeable. We feel very lucky that they opened their practice in Summit!

Ever since we took Darby home, we’ve seemed to follow Dr. Rick Lyons wherever he went for our veterinary care. His bedside manner, attention to detail, and calming demeanor makes “going to the vet” a lot less stressful for both myself and the dog. One time, while on a family vacation, Dr. Evin Lyons (his wife) was able to speak to us via telemedicine and our experience with her was top notch. She carefully listened to how we described Darby’s symptoms, asked us great background questions, and was able to accurately diagnose the culprit (a partially eaten Avocado from the trash) some 500 miles away. The prescription was emailed within minutes and we were able to visit the local pharmacy same day; helping to get Darby back on the mend fast. Knowing that both doctors will be under the same roof AND are going to be local to us in Summit is such a relief as an owner, especially now that Darby is 5 and his best years are yet to come.

I had the BEST experience here with Dr. Lyons. It’s a very calming facility and I’ve never seen my dog feel so relaxed at a vet before. I’ve referred several people here because it’s that good. My dog had to get an ultrasound and they even sent me pictures and text updates when he was done. The front desk staff is also so friendly. This place did not disappoint i wish i found them sooner. Thank you Dr. Lyons and staff you truly made me and Jackson feel so comfortable 🩷

This veterinary hospital is exceptional! From the friendly front desk to the skilled medical team, everyone treated my pet like family. The care was thorough, gentle, and professional. I couldn’t ask for a better place to trust with my pet’s health. Thank you for all that you do!

We had such a great experience at Lyons Veterinary Hospital! The entire team from the Client Service Rep Megan to the Technician Jeff to Dr. Lyons herself were so kind and welcoming and professional! I have a little bit of a nervous dog and they were so patient and caring with her, she had no issues at all at her visit! I couldn’t recommend them more highly. So glad to have them in the community! 🐶💜

Incredible staff so friendly and caring they give great feedback and really care about your pets health. It feels so homey and was such a welcoming, calm environment which is great for nervous pets. I was informed about my pets care every step of the way and they were so accommodating for fearful dogs. Not only did my dog receive great care but i felt so heard as well
